Job Summary
Architect and deliver comprehensive data solutions using Microsoft Fabric, translating client business needs into scalable technical requirements and designs. Lead technical delivery by guiding development teams on implementation, while engaging with clients to gather requirements and recommend best practices for data strategy. Architect integrations from various sources into Fabric to ensure quality and accessibility, then design advanced analytics, warehousing, and machine learning solutions. Optimize these architectures for performance and reliability, creating detailed documentation and providing training to foster team adoption. Stay current with Microsoft Fabric advancements to continuously enhance delivered solutions.
Required Qualifications
- Extensive experience with Microsoft Fabric, including data integration, automation, analytics, and related Microsoft technologies (e.g., Power BI, Azure Synapse, Azure Data Factory)
- Proven experience designing scalable and efficient data architectures, with a strong understanding of data modelling, ETL processes, and data warehousing
- Strong ability to analyze complex business requirements and translate them into technical solutions that meet or exceed client expectations
- Experience leading technical teams and managing the delivery of complex data projects from conception to completion
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, demonstrated to interact with clients at all levels and provide strategic insights
- Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to troubleshoot and resolve issues related to data integration, performance, and scalability
- Familiarity with industry best practices in data governance, security, and compliance, particularly in cloud-based data solutions
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field
- 5+ years of experience in data architecture, data engineering, or similar roles, with at least 2 years specializing in Microsoft technologies
- Experience in a client-facing or consulting role, delivering technical solutions to enterprise clients
- Full time permanent position
- Hybrid position, Based in Toronto
Desired Qualifications
- Master's degree preferred
- Relevant certifications in Microsoft technologies (e.g., Azure Solutions Architect, Microsoft Certified: Data Analyst Associate)
