Job Summary
Data Solution Architect at Roche China leads the design of business-driven, standards-based data solutions within complex solution contexts. The role governs non-functional requirements (NFRs) and fitness functions, documents and evolves architecture through the product lifecycle, creates conceptual and logical data models, taxonomies, ontologies, and integration pathways, and drives reference architectures and ADRs. The incumbent guides product teams, provides technical oversight, evaluates new technologies, manages technical debt, and mentors architecture practices while shaping the technology roadmap and ensuring alignment with enterprise standards and governance. Strong knowledge of modern data platforms (cloud-based including Snowflake), SQL Server, Python, DBT, and familiarity with GenAI/ML architectures are preferred, along with excellent communication to influence stakeholders and partner with vendors.
