Job Summary
Lead technology-agnostic data architecture engagements from strategy to target architecture and roadmap; design end-to-end data architectures spanning technical architecture (platforms, integration patterns, principles), data architecture (layered data modelling), data governance and quality frameworks, and operating models (roles, responsibilities, ways of working). Act as a sparring partner for clients on architectural trade-offs, platform choices, and data modernization initiatives; stay at the forefront of trends in data platforms, analytics, AI, and governance; contribute to Capgemini Invent’s data strategy and architecture offerings, including thought leadership and proposal work; collaborate with analytics, AI, design, and technology experts across Capgemini Invent.
Required Qualifications
- 8+ years of experience in data, analytics, technology, or consulting
- Master’s degree in technology, economics, or similar (experience can compensate)
- Background as a data architect from earlier projects or roles
- Solid understanding of data platforms and cloud solutions (Azure, AWS, MS Fabric, Power BI, Snowflake, Databricks, etc.)
- Solid understanding of architectural best practices and frameworks
- Able to explain complex topics to both technical and non technical stakeholders
