Job Summary
Design and maintain the organization's enterprise data architecture, including data models, flows, and system interactions. Develop scalable blueprints for current and future business initiatives while establishing governance policies to ensure data quality, privacy, and security. Lead the design and implementation of data warehouse solutions, integration platforms, and Master Data Management strategies. Partner with IT teams to unify laboratory, operational, and financial systems into a single ecosystem. Oversee the Power BI function, designing semantic models, dashboards, and "Next Best Action" analytics to support enterprise-wide decision-making. Collaborate with executive leadership to align architecture with business objectives and ensure compliance with healthcare data regulations.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Data Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field
- 7+ years of experience in Data Architecture, Data Engineering, Enterprise Architecture, or related disciplines
- Experience designing enterprise data architecture for complex organizations
- Strong knowledge of relational and non-relational database technologies
- Experience implementing enterprise data warehouses and ETL/ELT solutions
- Expertise in Master Data Management (MDM), data governance, and data quality frameworks
- Strong proficiency with SQL and modern cloud-based data platforms such as Microsoft Azure, AWS, or Google Cloud
- Experience with enterprise integration technologies, APIs, and data orchestration tools
- Understanding of cybersecurity principles and data privacy regulations
- Experience within healthcare, clinical laboratories, diagnostics, biotechnology, or life sciences
- Experience supporting AI, machine learning, and advanced analytics initiatives through scalable data architecture
- Familiarity with data visualization platforms such as Power BI or Tableau
- Experience with enterprise architecture frameworks and cloud-native data solutions
- Strong strategic thinking and enterprise architecture planning skills
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities
- Strong communication and presentation skills with the ability to explain technical concepts to executive and non-technical stakeholders
- Proven ability to lead cross-functional initiatives and influence organizational decision-making
- Strong project management and organizational skills
- Ability to balance long-term architectural strategy with immediate business priorities
