Job Summary
Lead Data Architect role overseeing strategic leadership, client-engagement, and architecture across real-time streaming and batch processing workloads. Responsibilities include defining technical vision and reference architectures, delivering architecture blueprints and roadmaps, conducting executive workshops and data strategy sessions, mentoring architects, and representing the company in Microsoft partner activities. Requires senior-level expertise in enterprise data platforms on Microsoft Azure (Fabric/Synapse or equivalent), data governance, real-time and batch processing, and a track record in client-facing consulting or professional services. Certifications in Azure Data Engineer, Fabric Analytics Engineer, Azure Solutions Architect Expert, or Databricks are preferred. The candidate will work in a remote capacity supporting enterprise clients, with emphasis on strategic leadership, governance, and scalable data-platform delivery.
Required Qualifications
- 8+ years in data architecture, data engineering, or enterprise data solutions
- 5+ years in client-facing consulting or professional services
- 3+ years leading architecture across multiple concurrent engagements
- Proven track record of successful enterprise data platform implementations on Microsoft Azure (Fabric, Synapse, or equivalent)
- Hands-on experience with data governance, real-time streaming, and batch processing workloads
- Preferred Certifications: Microsoft Certified: Azure Data Engineer Associate; Microsoft Certified: Fabric Analytics Engineer Associate; Microsoft Certified: Azure Solutions Architect Expert; Databricks Certified Data Engineer or Architect
