Job Summary
Support Senior Data Analysts with the collection, collation, validation, and reporting of service data using advanced Excel functionality to improve accuracy and efficiency. Maintain accurate spreadsheets, trackers, and databases while producing regular and ad hoc performance reports for managers and stakeholders. Carry out routine data-quality checks, identify anomalies, and automate recurring reports to reduce manual work. Monitor KPIs, contractual requirements, and quality-improvement activity, escalating complex issues as needed. Create clear dashboards and summaries to enable quick understanding of service performance, ensuring all work is documented, version-controlled, and auditable in line with information-governance requirements. Handle confidential data and respond to routine data requests collaboratively with frontline teams.
Required Qualifications
- Strong practical expertise in Microsoft Excel
- Comfortable working with large or complex spreadsheets
- Confident using Microsoft 365 applications
- Ability to quickly learn new systems and processes
- Experience maintaining databases or data-management systems
- Experience producing accurate reports
- Excellent attention to detail
- Ability to spot when something in the data does not look right
- Right to work in the UK at the time of application
- Ability to work in Coventry
- Permanent contract availability
- Full time availability
- 37.5 hours per week availability
- Basic level Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) Scheme check eligibility

- Enable Senior Data Analysts and managers to understand service performance quickly
- Maintain clear documentation and version control for reporting tools and processes
- Ensure work is consistent, auditable and can be covered during periods of absence
- Handle confidential and sensitive information in line with CGL information-governance requirements
- Respond to routine data requests
- Work collaboratively with administrators, frontline teams and managers
- Improve data recording and reporting processes
