Job Summary
Collaborate with the Chief Medical Officer on projects using data to facilitate performance improvement, quality and safety assessment, and health services research across diverse academic medical centers and health delivery networks. Assist with internal and external analyses using data from Vizient's multiple databases, including the clinical database, operational database, and procedural analytics. Support Operations and Quality Executives by fulfilling member analytical requests focusing on clinical improvement opportunities such as Length of Stay, mortality, cost, and readmissions. Conduct quantitative analysis, project management, and collaboration with providers and departments to help quality and clinical staff develop strategies to improve performance. Manage and enhance current products and services focused on data-driven performance improvement tools while developing new programs to better serve provider needs. Gain exposure to senior-level executives from more than 100 academic medical centers and integrated health systems. Required Qualifications
- Master's Degree in a related field (including MHA, MBA with a healthcare concentration, MPH, PharmD, MSHI, MHI, etc.)
- Completed internship within a healthcare setting
- Strong quantitative/analytical skills
- Project management capabilities
