Job Summary
The MMB Analytics team at Mercer seeks an experienced UI/UX Designer to contribute to the design of web and analytics products. Responsibilities include collaborating with senior leaders to translate visions into designs, developing user-friendly design templates, partnering with developers for effective implementation of design solutions, conducting user research, and ensuring design consistency across platforms. Candidates must have proven experience in UI/UX design, a strong design portfolio, excellent English communication skills, and proficiency with design tools like Figma or Sketch.
Required Qualifications
- Proven experience in UI/UX design, specifically for web and analytics products
- Strong portfolio demonstrating expertise in user-centric design, wireframing, prototyping, and visual design
- Excellent command of English, both written and verbal
- Proficiency with design and prototyping tools such as Figma, Sketch, Adobe XD, or similar
- Strong critical thinking skills and mindfulness
- Comfortable working and communicating with non-technical business users in English
- Ability to maintain discretion and deal appropriately with confidential information
Desired Qualifications
- Understanding of front-end development processes and technologies (particularly React)
- Understanding of the insurance and benefits market
- Experience using Pendo or other product experience and tracking platforms
