Job Summary
Data Analyst - Vice President for the EU AG Data Office (OPPD Data Management) in SMBC Group EMEA, based in Frankfurt. Deliver advanced analytics, dashboards, and data visualization using Power BI and Tableau; support rollout and adoption of self-service analytics across SMBC EMEA; collaborate with stakeholders to turn data into actionable insights; mentor analysts on analytics tools and approaches; develop analytics standards, governance, and analytics initiatives; drive data transformation and data-driven decision-making across the organization. Strong emphasis on cross-functional collaboration, data storytelling, and delivering analytics products that support strategic objectives.
Required Qualifications
- Proven experience in data analytics and business intelligence within a complex organization
- Strong hands-on experience with Power BI, Tableau, SQL
- Experience developing dashboards and visual analytics solutions for business stakeholders
- Excellent presentation, communication, and stakeholder engagement skills
- Understanding of analytics delivery lifecycle, including requirements gathering, testing, and deployment
- Experience mentoring or coaching others on analytics best practices
