Job Summary
Develop expert-level understanding of GBCI Certification operations to create data infrastructure solutions that enhance monitoring and analysis. Design, maintain, and optimize scalable data pipelines for integration, quality improvement, and governance while collaborating across teams to align engineering efforts with organizational goals. Enhance business intelligence by designing decision-support systems integrated with the data warehouse and defining, building, and automating business processes through data solutions. Oversee data quality assurance and serve as the data steward for the certification team, ensuring accuracy, integrity, clarity, and consistency. Assist with business planning, budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting via data infrastructure that enhances reporting capabilities.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum 3 years of data engineering, business intelligence, analytics, database administration, data visualization, or related experience
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Data/Computer Science, or other related analytic or information technology discipline
- Spotfire, Power BI, and/or other data visualization platforms
- Experience working with SQL databases
- Snowflake
- Power Automate
- Excel VBA
- Asana
- Demonstrated passion and commitment to the USGBC and GBCI mission
- Advanced proficiency in Excel
- LEED Green Associate or Sustainability Excellence Associate certification (or within one year of hire)
Desired Qualifications
- Master's degree
- Python programming experience
- Familiarity with Lean/Six Sigma and PMP or other project management methodologies
- Strong sense of personal responsibility, accountability, and high-quality work ethic
- Excellent judgment, analytical thinking, and problem-solving skills with a detail-oriented approach
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively, with strong written and verbal communication skills
