Job Summary
Architect and optimize scalable data models in dbt to build trusted semantic layers that enable analysts to move quickly. Develop automated root cause analysis and traffic-light systems for key metrics, reducing manual deep-dives and accelerating business insights. Work closely with Analysts, ML Engineers, and Commercial teams to prototype new concepts, validate data quality, and establish standards for version control, testing, and continuous integration. Deliver durable solutions that prioritize quality over speed, ensuring the analytics infrastructure supports real-time decision-making across customer behavior, sales, and financial data.
Required Qualifications
- Strong SQL
- Comfortable in a terminal
- Version control
- 2+ years in a data, engineering or analytics role close to the data
- Experience with a cloud warehouse (BigQuery, Snowflake, Redshift or similar)
- Ability to take a vague business question and work out the right metric
- Ability to work well with non-technical stakeholders
- Ability to communicate clearly
- Hybrid role with a real office component (commute of about an hour to Den Bosch)

- Experience with orchestration tools like Prefect, Airflow or Dagster
