Job Summary
Ensure the accuracy of current and historical databases in the Office of Early Learning. Provide weekly, monthly, and yearly reports on programs and services while developing and maintaining the OEL Data Dashboard. Research district maps, Pre-K program capacities, and analyze Teaching Strategies Gold data to support kindergarten readiness initiatives. Process preschool student data changes, perform backup data entry for collaborative systems, and enter parent-powered enrollments. Collaborate with community partners and external agencies to analyze shared screening and placement data. Maintain the OEL Data Dashboard and serve on the Wake Pre-K Collaborative.
Required Qualifications
- Considerable knowledge PowerSchool/Infinite Campus, Every Child Accountability & Tracking System (ECATS), and Canvas
- Considerable knowledge of Microsoft Office, specifically Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Publisher, and Access
- Google Apps
- Office 365
- Considerable knowledge of federal, state, and local program requirements
- Considerable knowledge of database systems
- Effective time management skills
- Detail oriented with ability to work under pressure with complex data
- Ability to communicate clearly and concisely both in oral and written form using a variety of communication techniques and tools to ensure the appropriate flow of information, collaborative efforts, and feedback
- Ability to analyze and organize data within large, complex databases
- Ability to work independently and complete tasks
- Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with school system staff, community partners, vendors, and contractors
- Associate's degree in information systems, business administration, programming, or equivalent work experience
- Three years of experience in database management or experience in a related field
- An equivalent combination of education and relevant experience sufficient to successfully perform the essential duties of the job
- Must hold and maintain a valid motor vehicle operator's license according to the State of NC requirements
