Job Summary
Data Analyst role within Counterpart Health, an AI-enabled physician enablement platform focused on value-based care analytics. Own core VBC performance metrics across risk, quality, utilization, and cost domains (e.g., HCC capture rates, RAF scores, PMPM trends, IP/ED utilization). Develop customer-facing analytics, reports, and dashboards for payers and providers; translate complex claims and clinical data into clear, narrative-driven insights and executive-ready visuals. Collaborate across Customer Success, Clinical, Product, Data Engineering to ensure metric accuracy, scalability, and actionable storytelling. Prepare performance reviews (QBRs, monthly packages), validate data pipelines, and contribute to reusable analytics infrastructure. The role emphasizes remote-first work with a focus on healthcare data, payer/provider engagement, and value-based care outcomes.
Required Qualifications
- 4+ years of hands-on healthcare data analytics experience
- Strong SQL skills
- Experience building customer-facing reports and dashboards
- Experience with payer/provider data in value-based care context
- Familiarity with clinical terminologies: ICD-10, CPT/HCPCS, NDC, SNOMED, LOINC
- Experience using Python or R for data manipulation
- Remote-first culture familiarity
- Ability to translate data findings into executive-ready narratives
