Job Summary
Data Analyst embedded within Vanderbilt's Office of the Deputy Provost program development ecosystem conducts market assessments, analyzes labor market demand and program viability, and develops data-informed recommendations to guide new academic programs and university investments. Responsibilities include shaping strategic insights, building dynamic dashboards (Tableau) and reports, supporting presentations for senior leadership, and collaborating with ODP, OPE, OLI, and DSA to ensure data quality and alignment with university data standards. Requires a Bachelor’s degree, 2+ years in data analysis/strategic research, experience with Tableau/Qualtrics/R, and strong communication skills to inform decision-making across academic units.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution
- At least 2 years of relevant experience in data analysis or strategic research
- Experience with data collection, reporting, and visualization systems such as Tableau, Qualtrics, and R
- Superior verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to think strategically and manage multiple projects with changing priorities
