Job Summary
Data Analyst for Switchgear responsible for collecting, cleaning, validating, and analyzing Switchgear data from OEE, MES, ERP (SyteLine), and manual sources to generate accurate performance insights. Develop and maintain dashboards and reports (Power BI/Tableau) for daily, weekly, and monthly visibility; monitor KPIs including on-time start, plan attainment, utilization, reworks, throughput, labor efficiency, and capacity; identify bottlenecks and perform detailed root-cause data analysis for downtime, quality issues, delays, or process instability; participate in process implementation and validation of standard work, cycle times, routings, load balancing, and line balancing; assist with MES configuration and optimization; support rollout of new process standards, automation cells, and engineering changes; collaborate with Planning on capacity modeling and forecasting; create automated reporting and alert mechanisms; contribute to CI projects with data modeling and statistical analysis; ensure data integrity and alignment with company-wide reporting standards.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering, Industrial Engineering, Data Analytics, Manufacturing Technology, or related technical field
- 2–5 years of experience in manufacturing analytics, operations analysis, industrial engineering, or similar role
- Strong experience with ERP systems (Infor SyteLine preferred)
- Advanced proficiency in Power BI, Tableau, Excel, and data visualization tools
- Strong skills in SQL, data manipulation, and database structures
- Understanding of manufacturing processes, preferably in Switchgear (mechanical and electrical assembly)
- Familiarity with OEE, MES, single piece flow and assembly line monitoring systems is preferred
- Experience supporting process implementation, process control, or standard work documentation
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to translate data into clear recommendations and actions
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to influence operational leaders through data storytelling
