Job Summary
Health Analytics Data Analyst at Sun Life to transform ad-hoc data requests into automated self-serve solutions, reverse engineer legacy reports, and develop data pipelines in the cloud. Collaborate with business leaders and IT to enable data-driven decision making, support data engineering best practices, document processes, and drive automation. Leverage SQL, Python, AWS, and BI tools to deliver scalable insights and enable stakeholders across the organization to access reliable data while adapting to changing priorities in a hybrid work environment.
Required Qualifications
- Strong proficiency in SQL including complex joins and window functions
- Experience with Python for tooling and workflow development
- Practical experience with AWS (Lambda, Glue, Step Functions, CloudWatch) or equivalent cloud platforms
- Solid understanding of data warehousing concepts and ETL patterns
- Proficiency with Git and version control workflows
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills
