Job Summary
Collaborate with design teams to develop analytical approaches for data collection, aggregation, and analysis while supporting the development of efficient test and evaluation plans. Participate in design reviews, readiness reviews, test execution, and post-test data reviews to architect and optimize data review methodologies. Coordinate internally with multi-disciplinary teams and externally with customers to fulfill commitments with honesty and responsibility. This level I or II role supports air-launched hypersonic vehicles at Stratolaunch, a technology accelerator engineering realistic testing at Mach 5+. The position requires a SECRET or above security clearance and proficiency in data cleaning, analysis, modeling, and visualization using programming languages.
Required Qualifications
- Knowledge of data cleaning, analysis, modeling and visualization techniques
- Ability to use programming languages to facilitate data analysis
- Ability to quickly adapt to changing priorities
- Excellent written & verbal communication
- Ability to obtain and maintain a security clearance at the SECRET or above level
- Bachelor's degree (B.S.) from accredited institution
- 2-5 years of engineering experience
- 9/80 schedule
- Travel, as needed, to support the department
- Travel estimated to be <5%
- Position based in Mojave, CA
- Consideration for hybrid (partial remote/on-site work) work location arrangement

Desired Qualifications
- Experience working with an aerospace engineering development/modification program
- Experience wearing multiple hats in a small team environment
- Experience defining, managing, and verifying requirements for hypersonic vehicles with hot-structure airframes
- Experience translating operational analysis into system requirements
- Active security clearance
- Experience programming (Python, MatLab, Linux)
- Experience with CAD (NX Preferred)
- Experience with configuration management systems such as Jira, Git, etc.
- Experience with requirement management systems such as Jama, Cameo, DOORS, etc.
