Job Summary
The Data Analyst is a remote role on Stio’s Data & Analytics team, collaborating with stakeholders across Finance, Merchandising, Marketing, Operations, and more to translate ambiguous questions into defined analyses, dashboards, and data products. The role involves building and maintaining dbt models, validating data, owning metric definitions, reviewing AI-generated SQL and Python code, developing semantic context and reports, and contributing to the data stack (Snowflake, Fivetran, dbt, GitHub, Power BI, R, Python). Emphasis on practical data intuition, collaboration with AI agents to produce reliable outputs, and driving actionable insights across the business.
Required Qualifications
- 3+ years of professional experience as a data analyst, analytics engineer, or similar role
- Advanced SQL with experience in CTEs and window functions
- Hands-on experience with dbt (models, tests, documentation)
- Experience with cloud data warehouses (Snowflake, BigQuery, Databricks, Redshift, Microsoft Fabric, or similar)
- Version control with Git/GitHub
- Experience with at least one BI tool (Power BI, Tableau, Looker, Omni, or similar)
- Ability to reason about AI-assisted analytics outputs and ensure trustworthiness
