Job Summary
Data Analyst responsible for turning raw data into actionable business insights through reports and dashboards, collaborating with data engineers, BI analysts, and business leaders. Responsibilities include documenting reporting requirements, performing exploratory data analysis in Databricks to identify trends and opportunities, supporting data quality assurance with tests and plans, defining and documenting KPIs with department leaders, conducting root-cause analysis of KPI fluctuations, developing and maintaining interactive Databricks AI/BI dashboards and reports, curating semantic layers to power natural language querying (Genie) for business users, participating in daily standups and planning sessions, and managing ad hoc data requests. The ideal candidate has strong SQL and Python skills, experience with Databricks, excellent communication, and a degree in a quantitative field or equivalent experience; fluency in English is required and French is a plus.
Required Qualifications
- Degree in a quantitative field (e.g., Computer Science, Stats, Economics, Business Analytics) or equivalent experience
- Strong SQL skills and intermediate Python
- Experience with Databricks or similar technologies (2+ years)
- Strong analytical and quantitative skills
- Excellent communication and technical documentation skills
- Fluency in English; French is a plus
