Job Summary
Analyze and assess new databases and datasets from data share partners, creating business rules and functional requirements to set up ETL processes for ingesting recurring data. Ensure quality and accuracy of datasets by developing business logic for QA, maintaining data standards, and producing validation reports. Identify trends and patterns in data sets, interpret findings to develop recommendations, and interface with clients and third parties to obtain and interpret data. Oversee a Philippine resource for QA tasks and handle ad-hoc requests related to DSP data while supporting products dependent on Property and Casualty data. Work with developers to modify existing DSP processes and address related data issues.
Required Qualifications
- BS/BA in information systems, business, economics or other related discipline
- Strong technical orientation
- Experience with MS SQL Server 2014 or higher
- PL SQL
- relational databases
- MS Excel
- DataStage (or similar ETL tools)
- Experience in identifying trends and patterns
- Experience in data mining techniques and procedures
- Ability to present complex information in an understandable and compelling manner
- Ability to create functional specifications
- Experience working with BI tools (domo, micro strategy, etc.)
Desired Qualifications
- Familiarity with property and casualty insurance data
- general knowledge of insurance industry
