Job Summary
Conduct data analysis, report generation, validation, and interpretation for projects by querying electronic health records using SQL. Perform research by gathering data from internal and external healthcare sources, while assessing project progress and conducting feasibility analyses. Present analytical findings to stakeholders using storyboarding and dynamic visuals, and coordinate ad hoc requests across clinical, operations, and IT teams. Own report development for dashboards and escalate project risks with proactive solutions.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
- 2+ years of relevant healthcare data analysis work experience
- 5+ years data analysis work experience in other fields
- Experienced in SQL
- 2+ years of experience with Power BI
- Must be able to fluently speak, read and write English
- This is an FLSA exempt position
- This is not an OSHA low-risk position
- This is a Full Time position
Desired Qualifications
- 2+ years of experience working with Epic EHR system
- 2+ years analytical experience working in healthcare data quality reporting
- 2+ years of clinical experience within a health care setting
- Understanding of the sources and contents of health care data with experience in reporting and/or analytic workflows for health care organizations
- Knowledge of standard healthcare Quality Measures and reporting, like NCQA HEDIS, CMS eCQM, PQA, P4P
- Fluency in other languages
- Able to build relationships and work with all levels of staff, including C-Suite
- Able to research and apply problem solving, analytical skills
- Strong data visualization and presentation skills
- Excellent communication, both verbal and written
- Investigative, detail oriented and thorough
- Ability to multi-task, organize, and prioritize work
