Job Summary
Architect automated Looker dashboards and semantic models to serve as a single source of truth for global logistics, synthesizing complex supply chain telemetry into actionable insights on pick rates and inventory waste. Write, audit, and optimize high-throughput SQL scripts within Google BigQuery while mapping and cleaning data streams from legacy Warehouse Management Systems and ERP tools. Partner with Core Data Engineering and Operations teams to bridge raw data infrastructure with downstream analytics assets, conducting diagnostic analyses to uncover root causes of supply chain delays. Deliver prescriptive, data-backed strategic recommendations to maximize daily stock throughput and validate efficiency gains through post-implementation metrics. Apply advanced statistical methodologies to detect trends and anomalies, designing AI-assisted analytical workflows using Large Language Models to accelerate data discovery.
Required Qualifications
- At least 2 years of experience in a professional data analyst role
- A degree in a numerate discipline (such as mathematics, statistics, economics, data science) or equivalent practical experience
- Advanced proficiency in SQL and Google BigQuery for complex data manipulation and extraction
- Proven experience building and maintaining dashboards in Looker (preferred) or equivalent BI tools such as Tableau or Power BI
- Strong communication and data storytelling skills, with the ability to translate analytical findings into clear, actionable recommendations for non-technical stakeholders
- A solid understanding of supply chain, logistics, or fulfilment operations, ideally within a high-volume e-commerce environment
- An analytical, problem-solving mindset with the ability to work in a fast-paced environment to resolve immediate data gaps
Desired Qualifications
- Familiarity with Google Cloud Platform (GCP)
- Experience or interest in using AI tools (such as Claude) and prompt engineering to build out AI analytics workflows
- Basic scripting knowledge in Python for data cleaning or automation tasks
