Data Analyst - Material Handling Equipment

Job Summary
Analyze fleet performance data to identify trends, inefficiencies, and cost-saving opportunities for forklifts and reach trucks. Support telemetry system implementation and develop dashboards monitoring utilization, uptime, and maintenance metrics. Collaborate with Engineering, Operations, and Procurement to validate savings initiatives and assist in building business cases for equipment refreshes. Provide insights into direct and indirect operating costs, including hardware, subscriptions, and service contracts. Travel to sites as needed for data validation and stakeholder engagement. Participate in quarterly and annual reviews with data-driven recommendations to guide strategic decisions on equipment utilization and vendor performance.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Data Analytics, Supply Chain, Engineering, or related field
- 3-5 years of experience in data analysis, preferably in logistics, fleet, or industrial operations
- Strong analytical skills with proficiency in Excel, SQL, and data visualization tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau)
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to translate complex data into clear insights
- Collaborative mindset and ability to work cross-functionally
- Travel to sites as needed to support data validation, stakeholder engagement, and project alignment
Desired Qualifications
- Familiarity with KPI development and SLA tracking
- Ability to work cross-functionally and influence stakeholders
- Experience with telemetry or IoT systems
- Familiarity with SAP platforms
- Understanding of MHE lifecycle, maintenance practices, and cost modeling
