Job Summary
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business goals, identify reporting inefficiencies, and drive data-driven insights. Extract and manipulate data using SQL to perform statistical analysis, create visualizations, and maintain up-to-date dashboards tailored to organizational needs. Design, execute, and manage A/B tests to optimize key performance indicators such as retention and acquisition, while measuring the success of new product features to guide iterative improvements. Assist in task prioritization and project management to achieve team objectives efficiently. This role requires 3+ years of data analysis experience, ideally within games or high-volume B2C mobile apps, with expert SQL skills and familiarity with Google BigQuery, Tableau, and JIRA.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in related field
- 3+ years of industry data analysis experience, with solid knowledge of statistical methods
- 1+ years of industry data experience in games (mobile, console, PC), online casino, slot games, or any high volume B2C mobile apps
- Expert SQL skills and experience querying very large data sets
- Proven ability to thrive using multiple mixed, varied, and inconsistent data sources
- Fundamental knowledge of project management methodologies
- Regular communication with stakeholders from other departments and drive actionable items for continuous improvement
- Experience with Google BigQuery, Tableau, JIRA and/or other project management software
- Experience working for a social or mobile game developer
- Understanding of game design concepts and principles
