Job Summary

Design and implement automated data pipelines and ETL processes to streamline data collection and integration from multiple sources. Execute complex statistical analyses and machine learning algorithms to derive actionable insights for decision-making. Collaborate with IT and data engineering teams to enhance data infrastructure, ensuring scalability and reliability of analytics solutions. Lead the creation of interactive dashboards and personalized reports using advanced visualization tools, while formulating data analytics policies to maintain consistency across organizational activities. Merge, clean, and manipulate observational data to prepare comprehensive summary tables for research use.

Required Qualifications

  • The ability to obtain, maintain, and access classified information at the DoD Secret level, which requires U.S. Citizenship
  • Minimum 5 years of hands-on experience coding in Stata, R, or SAS at an advanced or expert level
  • experience building reproducible workflows
  • automating analyses
  • optimizing performance for large datasets
  • A strong background in health economics, epidemiology, public health, applied statistics, or a related field
  • Master's degree in health economics, epidemiology, public health, applied statistics, or a related field
  • a minimum of 5 years of hands-on experience coding in Stata, R, or SAS at an advanced or expert level
  • experience building reproducible workflows
  • automating analyses
  • optimizing performance for large datasets

Desired Qualifications

  • Experience with AWS Cloud computing
  • Familiarity with Stata
  • Experience working with medical records and/or data from the Military Health System (MHS)
