Data Analyst II - Regulatory Reporting

Job Summary
Model data in our platform to build critical regulatory and compliance reports, translating official technical requirements into robust data models, validations, and automated deliveries. Manage reporting processes including requirements gathering, validation checks, and delivering compliant files to regulators across multiple jurisdictions. Maintain dashboards and visualizations using BI tools like Looker for stakeholders and internal auditors while contributing to the automation of regulatory reporting processes. Work closely with Data Analysts, Analytics Engineers, Compliance Officers, and MLROs to coordinate and enhance data pipelines for centralised payment statistics and account databases. This role supports Ebury's strategic growth plan by ensuring accurate, timely submission of all required reports to stakeholders and auditors within the Regulatory Reporting domain.
Required Qualifications
- 4-6 years Experience in Data/Business Analytics
- Advanced SQL skills – able to read and write queries across complex datasets
- Experience with our modern data stack tools: dbt, Google Cloud BigQuery, Looker, Sigma, Git
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills with excellent attention to detail
- Experience working with Python
- Previous exposure to Regulatory or Financial Reporting
- Ability to manage, organise and present data in a clear, concise and actionable format
- Fluency in English
- 4 days in the office, 1 day working from home per week
Desired Qualifications
- applied to Finance or Compliance is a plus
- Knowledge of Financial Services or Capital Markets (Payments, FX, Treasury, Accounts) is desirable but not mandatory
- Spanish, a plus
