Job Summary
Mid-level Clinical Data Analyst II responsible for maintaining AAOS registries and data pipelines, building and validating analysis-ready datasets, applying statistical analyses and machine learning to clinical and operational questions, and supporting manuscript and publication efforts. Key tasks include collecting, analyzing, and reporting data; ensuring data quality and integrity; coordinating data access and compliance; collaborating with clinical and research teams on study designs and analysis plans; and mentoring junior staff while documenting code and data sources for reproducibility.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in related field
- 2-3 years of experience working with data, preferably healthcare data
- Working knowledge of relational databases, SQL
- Proficiency with data visualization tools such as Tableau
- Python and SQL (Snowflake) data pipelines
- Knowledge of statistical analyses and interpretation
- Experience with data preparation, modeling, analysis, and visualization
- Ability to collaborate with clinical and research teams and contribute to publications
- Mentoring/mentorship experience is a plus
