Job Summary
Entry-level Data Analyst I in-office in Abilene, TX. Responsible for analyzing data, developing and maintaining reports and dashboards using Cognos and Power BI, retrieving, validating, and analyzing data from Snowflake, Google BigQuery, SQL Server, MS Fabric, and other sources, documenting data sources, data definitions, calculations, and report logic, ensuring data accuracy and governance, and collaborating with project managers, developers, business analysts, stakeholders, and other team members to understand reporting requirements and data needs. The role requires strong analytical and critical-thinking abilities, attention to detail, and effective communication, with supervision and training provided as needed.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in a computer‐related, data‐related, or analytical field, or equivalent experience
- Ability to learn and work with business intelligence and reporting tools such as Power BI and Cognos
- Understanding of relational databases and data concepts, including tables, views, joins, and basic data modeling
- Ability to retrieve and analyze data using SQL from sources such as SQL Server, Snowflake, BigQuery, MS Fabric, and similar platforms
- Strong attention to detail with a focus on data accuracy and consistency
- Must display troubleshooting skills and work well on a team
- Effective written and verbal communication skills
