Job Summary
Gather and analyze requirements to solve complex problems involving HL7 FHIR data mapping and clinical data profiling. Perform data mapping exercises from source systems to FHIR data models while understanding healthcare data in proprietary and industry-standard formats. Design and monitor performance and quality reports for FHIR products, soliciting and clarifying business-level requirements. Apply SQL, Python, and cloud data flow skills to build and operationalize data processing systems within healthcare data platforms.
Required Qualifications
- 5+ years of hands-on experience of building and operationalizing data processing systems
- 3+ years of HL7 FHIR (Fast Healthcare Interoperability Resources) experience
- Ability to perform data mapping exercise for clinical data from the source system to FHIR data model
- Understand healthcare data, including clinical data in both proprietary and industry-standard formats (HL7)
- Able to map and implement data standards such as SNOMED CT, RXNorm, LOINC, UCUM, ICD, CPT, CVX, etc
- Understand the dirtiness of clinical data and seek out ways to improve conformance and quality
- Solicit, clarify business level requirements and analyze data requirements
- Good SQL experience
- Deep understanding of FHIR (Fast Healthcare Interoperability Resources) and EHR standards
- Design and ongoing monitoring of performance and quality reports for FHIR Products
- 2+ years experience working with data platforms (Data warehouse, Data Lake, ODS)
- Must have working experience with the clinical data
- Candidates should be based out of the United States
- valid work authorization
