Job Summary

Extract data from the medical centers data warehouse via Azure Databricks and create/maintain complex SQL codes and stored procedures. Conduct analysis by compiling data, managing databases, and presenting results in numerical and graphic formats. Visualize analytic insights and create dashboards with Tableau for end stakeholders to use in decision-making and monitoring of performance. Assist department leadership in conducting process analysis, problem identification, root cause analysis, and formulating recommendations for improvement. Manage and improve existing databases while developing programs and methodologies for analyzing and presenting data. Research new data sources and analytical tools to contribute to product development and improvement in product delivery. This role reports to the Manager of Data Analytics and supports department-wide data collection, analysis, distribution, governance, and strategic data initiatives. Candidates must have 1-2+ years of experience in writing complex SQL and 1+ years in data analytics using Tableau.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree in Statistics, Mathematics, Economics, Public Health, Computer or Systems Engineering or related field that further developed your expertise in the business of health and healthcare
  • 1-2+ years of experience in writing complex SQL, including complex joins, subqueries, and aggregation
  • 1+ years of data analytics experience using data visualization software
  • Proven ability to create concise reports based upon specifications requested by management
  • Excellent problem-solving skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite including advanced proficiency in Excel
  • Attention to detail, especially with regard to data visualization
  • Strong oral, written and presentation communication skills
