Data Analyst – Data Modelling & Power BI

Job Summary
Perform data modelling including data extraction, transformation, cleansing, and validation; design data models to support scalable analytics and reporting solutions; develop, validate, and maintain dashboards and visualization solutions using Power BI; collaborate with business stakeholders, SMEs, and technical teams to understand reporting and analytics requirements; analyze large and complex datasets to identify trends, patterns, gaps, and actionable insights; develop and maintain database schemas, ETL processes, and reporting structures; ensure data quality, consistency, and reliability across analytics solutions; report project status, risks, and issues to stakeholders; create and maintain technical, process, and end-user documentation; stay updated with the latest trends and technologies in data analytics and business intelligence.
Required Qualifications
- 3–7 years of experience in Data Analytics / BI Development
- Strong hands-on experience in SQL and T-SQL
- Data Modelling – Knowledge of Star schema & Snowflake schema
- Power BI development experience - DAX, RLS, Gateway and Administration
- Exposure to SSIS, SSAS and data warehousing
- Exposure to GitHub, Bitbucket, Azure & Databricks
- Exposure to databases such as SQL, Oracle & data warehousing environments
- Understanding of Python (good to have)
- Graduate in Engineering or computer applications/ IT discipline
