Job Summary
Leverage SQL and data visualization tools to analyze data and drive key business decisions, while governing all data that shapes stakeholder perception through root cause analysis. Work closely with internal stakeholders across Product, Engineering, Sales, Marketing, Finance, and Operations to identify opportunities for analytics and automation. Assist in requirements gathering, design, and development of complex data systems that collect and measure data throughout all company departments. Own analytic decision making and reporting to enable a data-driven organization. Requires 2+ years of analytics experience, proficiency in SQL and large-scale data warehouses, and strong communication skills to translate complex problems. Required Qualifications
- 2+ years experience working in a analytics, business intelligence
- Experience using SQL to extract data in order to perform complex data analysis
- Extensive knowledge and experience working with large scale data warehouse and database platforms using SQL and a Business Intelligence tool (Tableau, Power BI, Domo, Qlikview, etc.)
- Attention to detail and the ability to think critically and solve problems using analytical and quantitative methodologies
- Strong oral/written communication skills, specifically the ability to communicate and translate difficult analytical problems to stakeholders with minimal analytics background
- Ability to work effectively and multi-task in a high paced environment
- Must be authorized to work in the United States on a full-time basis
Desired Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in a quantitative field such as Information Systems, Computer Science, Statistics or Mathematics
- Demonstrated ability to manage complex technical projects: work prioritization, planning, task delegation and hitting deadlines
- Experience with programing/scripting languages and data science tools (Python, Java, Spark, Jupyter)
- Experience diving into data quality and data profiling analysis to ensure data consistency and accuracy across enterprise reporting
- Solid understanding of analyzing and integrating data from external systems into an analytic environment
