Job Summary
The Palliative and Advanced Illness Research Center is seeking two data managers to support clinical trials and studies. Responsibilities include understanding study protocols, creating structured analytic files, and managing data collection tools. Candidates should have strong data programming experience in R (preferred) and/or Python, as well as SQL, with a focus on attention to detail and effective communication. The position requires a Bachelor's degree and 2 to 3 years for Data Analyst C, and a Bachelor's degree with 3 to 5 years for Data Analyst D, with a preference for advanced degrees and Epic Clarity experience.
Required Qualifications
- Experience analyzing complex data
- Experience programming in R or Python
- Experience programming in SQL (or similar from other environments, e.g. SAS PROC SQL)
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
- Excellent written and oral communication skills
Desired Qualifications
- Experience with healthcare research and concepts
- Epic Clarity certifications, especially from the Clinical Data Model track
