Job Summary
Data Analyst in bp's Finance Business & Technology (FBT) joining the Trading Data & Confirms team. The role focuses on lifecycle maintenance, meeting SLAs with customers using metrics, understanding controls and reporting deficiencies, documenting business processes for standardisation of iData process models supporting the ST&S business, and developing robust stakeholder relationships (Settlements, CDD, Treasury). Responsibilities include liaising with teams for smooth operations, supporting ad hoc projects, handling deviations and exceptions, updating SharePoint workflows, and operating in a hybrid work arrangement (office/remote). Requires a Bachelor degree or equivalent, 1-2 years of corporate experience, fluency in English, strong technical/analytical skills, ability to multitask under pressure, and knowledge of data structures and systems. Describes a global energy company environment with opportunities, a flexible work schedule (home office up to 2 days/week), and a focus on continuous improvement and risk controls.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor degree or equivalent experience
- 1-2 years of working experience or completed traineeship in corporate environment
- Fluency in English
- Good technical and analytical skills
- Ability to prioritize work and be organized, to multi-task, to work under stress and align with strict Service Level Agreements
- Experience in identifying continuous improvement opportunities
- Self-confident appearance in relations to internal contacts
- Good understanding of systems and data structures
