Data Analysis Engineer

Data Analysis Engineer responsible for analyzing and interpreting complex data sets using statistical techniques to identify trends, patterns, and insights that inform business decisions. Designs and develops methods to consolidate and analyze diverse big data sources to generate actionable insights. Develops programs, algorithms, and automated processes to cleanse, integrate and evaluate large datasets from multiple sources. Oversees data mining using modern tools and programming languages; develops moderate-complexity predictive and prescriptive models; drives model implementation to create business value and innovation. Partners with data engineering teams to build data pipelines, improve data assets and quality; creates visualizations to communicate findings to technical and non-technical audiences. Leads a project team of data scientists, mentors staff, and collaborates with project teams; remains current with data science trends. Education and experience recommended include a four-year or graduate degree and 4–7 years in data analytics, statistical modeling, or machine learning; preferred certifications include programming-language certifications (SQL, Python, or similar).
