Job Summary
Facilitate in-person sessions and guide learners through collaborative assignments while providing technical support for virtual Teams meetings, including managing chat and assisting groups during small tasks. Deliver ad hoc support via drop-in calls or the online portal, ensuring the programme runs effectively by identifying and raising issues to the project team. This project-based contract requires on-site delivery in Bristol, Edinburgh, London, or Manchester, with all-inclusive rates factoring in localised travel. The tutor must be well-versed in machine learning mathematics, a capable Python coder, and comfortable with SQL and LLMs. Topics cover foundational ML, neural networks, customisation, agentic AI, and responsible AI.
Required Qualifications
- Well-versed in the mathematics behind machine learning models
- A capable python coder
- Comfortable with SQL
- Experienced with using LLMs and other Generative AI tools, including agentic AI
- A practiced small-group teacher
- UK-based
- Must be able to deliver on-site in one of Bristol, Edinburgh, London or Manchester
- Independent contractors, freelancers, or boutique consultancies operating via a Limited Company or appropriate vehicle
- The right of substitution applies, provided the substitute possesses equivalent skills and qualifications to meet the project deliverables
- The consultant is expected to provide their own equipment and tools necessary to complete the assignment
- The services provider is free to provide services to other clients during this engagement, provided there is no direct conflict of interest or breach of confidentiality regarding Cambridge Spark's proprietary materials and client relationships
Desired Qualifications
- PhD students studying scientific subjects with a heavy focus on Machine Learning, Data Science, or AI
- recent Masters' Graduates in the same areas
