Data Acquisition Engineer/Technician - NASCAR

Job Summary
Install, operate, and maintain data acquisition equipment on NASCAR race cars and in the race shop; travel extensively; install sensors and harnesses; operate data carts at events; set up and troubleshoot networks; monitor systems on-track; assist data analysis during tests; generate post-event reports for Engineering and race teams; assist with test equipment (K & C rig, Flow Rig, steering dyno); perform routine maintenance and calibration of electronic systems and sensors; experience with Motec or McLaren data acquisition systems; basic fabrication and wiring skills requested; positions require working under high pressure with minimal supervision; eligible to work in the U.S. without sponsorship.
Required Qualifications
- Experience with Motec or McLaren data acquisition systems & software
- Flexibility with work hours; ability to work under high pressure with minimal supervision
- Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering/Technology or Electrical Engineering preferred or Associate’s degree considered
- Authorized to work in the U.S. for any employer; sponsorship not available
