Job Summary
DAS & Small Cell - Crew Foreman leads and coordinates DAS installation projects, supervises the installation crew, ensures safety and codes compliance, conducts site assessments, and communicates project status to managers and clients. Requires hands-on DAS expertise, strong leadership and problem-solving abilities, proficiency with blueprints/schematics and tools, and experience with Sweep, PIM, and OTDR testing. Travel is involved; typical responsibilities include managing schedules, budgets, daily reports, and field training to ensure successful project completion. Focus areas include safety, quality, documentation, and collaboration with project managers and clients.
Required Qualifications
- Proven experience as a DAS Foreman or in a similar supervisory role within the telecommunications industry
- In-depth knowledge of DAS systems, installation techniques, and troubleshooting procedures
- Strong leadership and team management skills with the ability to motivate and guide a team
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical documents
- Proficiency in using relevant tools and equipment
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Relevant certifications
- Strong knowledge in Sweep, PIM, and OTDR testing
- High school diploma or equivalent; technical certification or degree in a related field is a plus
- Minimum of 2 years of experience as a DAS Foreman
