Job Summary
Plan and deliver age-appropriate soccer coaching sessions for children in a safe, engaging environment, leading drills, games, and skill-building activities that promote physical development and teamwork. Maintain a positive, encouraging atmosphere while adapting techniques to diverse age groups and skill levels. Communicate effectively with parents regarding player progress and uphold Soccer Shots' curriculum and coaching standards at all locations. Set up and break down equipment across various program sites in the SE Massachusetts area. This role requires CPR/First Aid certification, reliable transportation, and the ability to work a flexible schedule including mornings, afternoons, and weekends. Background checks are required.
Required Qualifications
- Passion for working with children and a natural ability to connect with young athletes
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills with both kids and parents
- Reliable transportation to travel to program sites across the SE Massachusetts region
- Ability to work a flexible schedule including mornings, afternoons, and weekends
- CPR/First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain)
- Background check required
Desired Qualifications
- Prior experience in soccer coaching, youth sports instruction, or child development preferred
