Job Summary
Plan and deliver age-appropriate soccer coaching sessions for children in a safe, engaging environment while leading drills, games, and skill-building activities. Maintain a positive, high-energy atmosphere and adapt techniques for diverse age groups and skill levels. Communicate effectively with parents regarding player progress and uphold the organization's curriculum and coaching standards. Set up and break down equipment at various program locations throughout the SE Massachusetts area. This role requires CPR/First Aid certification and reliable transportation to travel across the region. A flexible schedule including mornings, afternoons, and weekends is necessary. Background checks are required. Soccer Shots is a nationally recognized youth soccer program dedicated to character-building experiences for children.
Required Qualifications
- Passion for working with children and a natural ability to connect with young athletes
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills with both kids and parents
- Reliable transportation to travel to program sites across the SE Massachusetts region
- Ability to work a flexible schedule including mornings, afternoons, and weekends
- CPR/First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain)
- Background check required
Desired Qualifications
- Prior experience in soccer coaching, youth sports instruction, or child development preferred
