Job Summary
DARS Analyst provides support for regulatory rulemaking within the DoW framework, including DFARS/FAR rule publishing, review of approval-to-publish packages, processing public comments, and coordination of DFARS updates and related notices. The role includes editing for DFARS and FAR rules, web content maintenance for DARS, preparation of meeting materials and coordinating approvals and attendees for engagements with internal and external partners (e.g., DAR Council, FAR Council). Requires experience drafting contracting policies/regulations, DFARS and FAR knowledge, and strong communication skills; Bachelor’s Degree and Active Secret clearance are required. The position is hybrid and on-site at the Mark Center in Alexandria, VA two to three days per week.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree required
- At least 5 years of practical experience in Federal contracting
- At least 3 years of practical experience in program management
- At least 3 years of practical experience as a staff level or component headquarters staff action officer
- Active Secret Security Clearance
- Capable of working independently in a fast-paced environment
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
