Job Summary
Contract interpreters fluent in English and Dari, Farsi, Parsi, Turkish or Persian. Provide virtual and on-site interpretation in medical, social work, education and workplace settings. Be a liaison using the client’s preferred language and interpret accurately for the setting and audience. Comply with privacy and confidentiality laws including HIPAA. Independent contractor role (not employee of LTC). Must live within commuting distance of Indianapolis, IN.
Required Qualifications
- Interpreting certifications (preferred)
- Minimum of 2 years medical interpreting experience preferred
- Minimum of 1-2 years interpreting experience required
- Ability to keep accurate records
- Independent contractor (IRS Form 1099) basis
- Candidate must live within commuting distance of Indianapolis, IN
