Job Summary
DAOS Software Engineer at HPE (Hybrid: ~2 days/week from an HPE office in Bengaluru, India). You will independently diagnose, design, and implement solutions to complex technical challenges in C/C++ and Python, collaborate across geographically distributed teams, read and interpret existing documentation and C source code, and write performant, scalable code with accompanying unit tests and documentation. The role emphasizes hands-on development for distributed storage systems within HPC/AI workloads, with expectations to contribute to architecture discussions, leverage open-source tools, and participate in a cross-functional environment.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's or Masters' in Computer Science or Equivalent
- 5+ years of experience as a software engineer
- Proficiency in C programming
- Experience with Linux
- 3+ years of experience with distributed storage systems/filesystems (Lustre or Ceph)
