Job Summary
Plan, organize, and lead specific activities, routines, and games for participants while maintaining a clean, risk-free environment. Manage all equipment, organize program records including attendance rosters, and ensure children are picked up by parents. Communicate effectively with participants and parents, promote other YMCA programs through referrals, and ensure compliance with all policies. Lead with enthusiasm and positive motivation in program delivery.
Required Qualifications
- 18 years of age
- high school diploma or GED
- Minimum 1-year prior teaching or instructional experience
- Training and qualifications in the specialized instruction area
- Demonstrate ability to develop and teach skills
- Ability to effectively use technology for programmatic needs
- Obtain and maintain all new hires certifications and trainings within 90 days of hire
