Job Summary
As a Classroom Teacher at Franklin Academy Charter Schools, you will lead a high school-level classroom of diverse learners, delivering engaging, high-quality instruction aligned with state and school standards. You will create a safe, supportive environment where students are excited to learn and empowered to reach their full potential, using a variety of teaching strategies, including hands-on activities, collaborative projects, and individualized support. You will use ongoing assessments to tailor instruction, collaborate with colleagues, parents, and the community to support student success, and incorporate technology and creative tools to prepare students for a 21st-century world. You will participate in ongoing professional development to model lifelong learning and contribute to a collaborative and innovative school community.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university (or equivalent)
- Possession of, or eligibility for, valid teaching certification
- Teaching experience, which may include student teaching or other relevant experience
- Strong command of the subject(s) you teach and the ability to deliver content in an engaging, impactful manner
- Adherence to the Code of Ethics for the Education Profession
