Part-time Dance Teacher for children ages 2-18, responsible for leading dance classes in various styles, creating choreography, coaching competitive dance teams, and fostering a positive learning environment.
Required Qualifications
- Proven experience teaching dance to children
- Energetic, patient, and able to motivate students of all ages
- Able to manage groups of students and maintain class discipline in a positive way
- Proven experience teaching and choreographing for competitive dance teams
- Experience working with children and teens in a structured environment
- Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills
- Ability to manage time efficiently
Desired Qualifications
- Training or certification in dance or dance education preferred
- Proficient in one or more dance styles (e.g., ballet, jazz, hip hop, lyrical, tap)
- CPR/First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain)
