Job Summary
Deliver the Equinox Experience to members in each class while adhering to the class description and modifying intensity for participants as necessary. Continuously monitor exercise intensity throughout the duration of the class and ensure classes begin and end on time. Teach respective classes on a regular basis, keeping substitutions to a minimum, while communicating with the Group Fitness Manager regarding member feedback, equipment status, scheduling, and subbing needs. Maintain current CPR/AED certification and possess knowledge of basic anatomy, kinesiology, and exercise modifications for all populations.
Required Qualifications
- current certification in their discipline or Dance Education
- experience teaching in a group environment
- current CPR/AED certification
- well-versed in basic anatomy, kinesiology, contraindicated exercises, exercise modifications for all populations
- eager to learn and continue professional development and education
- friendly, vibrant, and outgoing
- legal right to work in the United States
