Job Summary
Lead and instruct dance sessions for pre-school, youth, and future teen participants, focusing on basic dance movements, rhythm, coordination, and creative movement; create a positive, engaging, and inclusive environment; supervise groups, follow YMCA safety and child-abuse policies, communicate progress to parents/guardians, attend trainings and staff meetings, assist with equipment setup/breakdown, and perform other duties as assigned.
Required Qualifications
- CPR, First Aid, and AED certifications
- Child Abuse Prevention training required within 30 days of hire
- Completion of criminal background check and screening in accordance with YMCA standards
- Completion of required Child Abuse Prevention training prior to and throughout employment
