Job Summary
Plan and facilitate weekly dance and movement sessions for children ages 12 months through 5 years across six classrooms. Create age-appropriate lesson plans introducing diverse dance styles, rhythms, cultural traditions, and creative movement concepts while incorporating props, instruments, and music. Design inclusive experiences supporting gross motor skills, coordination, and self-expression, then collaborate with classroom teachers to connect these activities to broader projects. Prepare and lead monthly Mini Showcases highlighting seasonal themes and cultural celebrations. Reflect on children's engagement to inform future lesson planning. Required Qualifications
- 3+ years of related experience
- Passionate about working with young children
- Creative, energetic, patient, and adaptable
- Comfortable working with children of varying abilities and developmental levels
- Strong communication, interpersonal, lesson planning, and organizational skills
Desired Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Dance or a related field preferred
