Job Summary
Dance Drill Coach for SY 26-27 at Spanaway Lake High under Bethel School District. Responsibilities include coaching dance drills, promoting athletics, and supporting the overall athletic program. Requires enthusiasm for athletics, coaching experience, knowledge of sports fundamentals, strong organizational/motivational skills, ability to model expected behavior, and completion of required health trainings (Hepatitis B/HIV, First Aid/CPR). Candidates will undergo fingerprinting for background check; head coaches must be 21+, assistants 19+. Classroom teaching experience is preferred but not required. Apply online.
Required Qualifications
- Enthusiasm for athletics
- Available for all related activities
- Knowledge of assigned sports fundamentals
- Organizational and motivational skills
- Ability to model behavior as outlined in Coaches Handbook
- Successful coaching experience and training over a period of years
- Willingness to support the total athletic program
- Current First Aid and CPR card
- Completion of district training on Hepatitis B and HIV vaccination if necessary
- Fingerprinting for background check
- Head coaches must be 21 or older; Assistant coaches must be 19 or older
- Classroom teacher is preferred but not required
